千葉県産です。大豆ミートとは違い、小麦のグルテンからできた「セイタン」です。
Found at Peacock Store @2021/08/17.
Chiba Prefecture product. As opposed to the usual mock meat made of soy, this one is seitan made of wheat gluten.
そのまま使ってもいいみたいです。
Packed flavored, albeit lightly. Good to go out of the can.
あまりおいしそうな見た目ではないですね。生で食べてみましたが、無味無臭です。用途に応じたサイズに切って使いましょう。
It did not look palatable to be honest. Tried a few bite raw, it tasted and smelled close to nothing. Cut them to sizes of your preference.
焼きそばにそのまま入れてみました。味的にもテクスチャ的にも肉というより、すり身とかつみれに似ています。魚系の料理にも合うかもしれませんね。
Throw them, out of the can, all into yakisoba. It resembled more fish-ball than meat, both taste and texture wise. Could be a nice replacement when the recipe says “fish”.

Wheat protein (Japan), Soy sauce (Contains Wheat, Soy), Salt, Vegetable oil (Rapeseed oil).
