生肉の棚で生肉のように売られていたので見逃しがちです。「プラントベース」のラベルに目を惹かれました。

This “plant-based” meat was sitting on the same shelves with her real meat counterparts like they were brothers. If it were not for the “plant-based” label, I would have missed it.
「プラントベース」とは何ですかね。植物をベースに作られたという解釈もでいくと卵入りは間違えていないですが、植物のみで作られたという解釈だと誤表示となりますね。
What is “Plant-based” exactly? It could be interpreted as “Made based mainly on plant ingredients” which renders Egg as an okay ingredient. On the other hand, it would be a mislabeling if one were to hard-interpret it as completely made out of plants.
