一般人利用可の千代田区役所食堂(10階)でヴィーガン仕様のキーマカレーが2021/12から導入されました。ルー・ごはん大盛でも￥650です。
Open to the public, the cafeteria located on the 10th floor of Chiyoda City Hall, launched “Veggie Keema Curry” which is vegan, since Dec 2021. Priced at ￥550 for regular size and ￥650 for upsized rice and curry.
漬物は自分で足しました。ヴィーガンだとなかなか味わえない社食カレーが食べられてありがたいです。少しだけ辛みがあるのでルー感は多少軽減されています。社食としては申し分なくおいしく頂きました。
The red pickled radish was optionally topped FOC from the condiment corner. Vegan option is still a rare phenomena in staff cafeterias, so feel grateful for this endeavor from Chiyoda Ward. As a premise, “Shashoku” (staff cafeteria) is supposed to dish out foods as fast to as many people as possible, so expectations ought to be set with that in mind. That being said, the curry packed a little spiciness that kind of camouflaged off the taste of mass-produced roux. Still beat some curry shops though, to me.
昼食時間は行列必至。それでも待ち時間は5分程度でした。
Expect line during lunch hour. Don’t get scared off though, it was at most some 5 minutes wait.
券売機で購入すると２番のカレー・丼カウンターに行けばよいです。
Proceed to No.2 counter which serves curries and rice, after purchasing tickets from the machines.
1番カウンターは定食なので、ものすごく並びます。
The No.1 counter is for set lunch, which is usually thronged. So, don’t get it wrong.
高天井で広々とした空間です。相席ですが、昼休憩時間に行っても席はあります。
Very high ceiling, rendering one spacious interior space. Though you may need to share table with others, seats are usually available even during heated lunch hour.
