宿泊プランの夕食ビュッフェです。朝食ビュッフェも付いています。ノンベジの料理がほとんどです。ヴィーガン仕様の料理はわずかです。そもそもヴィーガン対応の考えがないようなので、ノンベジであれば普通に楽しめるビュッフェです。
まずはサラダコーナーです。選択肢は少ないです。肉とかたくさんあるので、そもそもなくてもよいような感じです。ドレッシングはヴィーガン表示がなく、アレルギー表示も特定原材料の7品目のみです。
The dinner buffet, as well as the breakfast buffet, came with the stay plan. As expected, the dishes were mostly non-veg, and there were only that many dishes that cater to vegans. Of course the buffet was designated without much thought for vegans, but non-vegs would surely enjoy it.
Anyway, let’s do the salads. It came with only the usual boring ones. The only labels on the dressings were for the 7 types of allergens. So vegans, try your luck.
ジーマーミ豆腐やもずく酢もいけます。もずくは島でとれたそうです。
Jimami tofu (made of peanut instead of soy) and Vinegared mozuku seaweed were good to go too. The seaweed was sourced from the nearby ports.
シークァサードレッシングを入れたので、酸っぱい三銃士です。ありがとうジーマーミ。
With the shequasar dressing on the salad, the appetizers were three musketeers of acids. Lucky I had the jimami.
炭水化物系はそんなになくて、まずは八重山そばでしょう。
Not much luck for carbos too, but first thing first Yaeyama Soba noodle.
めんつゆはNGなので、サラダバーのドレッシングで食べてもおいしかったです。
Vegetarians can’t go with the soup, but there were always salad dressing amirite? Not bad a combo to be honest.
あとはごはんに漬物、フライドポテトに赤味噌。
The climax would probably be this white rice + pickles, or probably fried potato with red miso, but which is which?
デザートはいつものフルーツですね。
The usual desserts.
フルーツはやはりローカル系がおいしいです。それからぜんざいとシークァサージェリー、そしてブルーシールのシークァサーソルベです。最後はシークァサージュースで飲み込みます。
Local fruits like pineapples are usually the freshest and thus best to go. Then you got zenzai (think of mochi in red bean syrup). Finally the three shequasars – jelly, sorbet, and juice.
ディスタンスをきちんと確保した配置です。ファミリー向け感のあるインテリアです。
ノンベジの同伴者と一緒であれば楽しいですが、全体的にヴィーガンにとってはちょっと寂しいビュッフェです。宿泊を予約するときにヴィーガン食希望と申し入れたほうがよいかもしれません。
Very well distanced seats. Over all the ambience was rather family-friendly.
It was great to go with non-vegs but generally it was not much a fun ride for vegan. In hindsight, vegans ought to inquire for vegan foods when making the hotel reservation. No guarantee it would be attended to but it is a resort after all.
